Sunlight House
Lighting Design & Specifications of Custom Fittings for a Grade II Listed Refurbishment
Originally built in 1932 and now Grade II listed, Sunlight House underwent a landmark refurbishment blending historic preservation with modern performance. We collaborated with the wider project team to design and supply two custom concentric hoop suspensions for the feature top-floor rotundas—bringing visual focus and architectural harmony to these unique circular spaces. The lighting upgrade was integral to achieving BREEAM Excellent and a 4-star NABERS rating, supporting the project’s net-zero carbon ambitions. Our scope balanced heritage sensitivity with contemporary standards, contributing to a refined, professional environment that respects the building’s Art Deco character while meeting the needs of today’s occupiers.
